Open mantapa · Indian rosewood
Open Pavilion
A four-pillar mantapa with a carved crown, an open sanctum, and claw feet.
This is the mantapa in its plain sense: four pillars, a roof, and a place for the deity to sit in the room. The rosewood is polished so the dark ribbon grain stays visible. A pierced crown, turned pillars, and a leaf-carved plinth finish the silhouette.
- Four turned pillars
- Carved roof rail and finials
- Open sanctum
- Drawer in the plinth
- Leaf-carved claw feet
Shown as carved. The design can be drawn again for your room, deity, and finish.
